Re: [Nathranas] The Dreamer and the Waves

huh… Oops. Well, it’s his fault for building a burrow den on top of the pissing Stormwarrens. Haha! xD I really hope this isn't the final part. I'd love to read Nath's take on the dream! Really loved this story, especially the diversion into the fable of the Steadfast Oak. Just.. beautiful to read....

Re: Walking...

A spot of morning music High above the forest floor, on a thin branch that sways in the crisp pre-dawn breeze, a large crow lands with a silent flex of broad wings. The bird bounces to a halt, balancing precariously on the dancing perch. Long hooked talons grip mercilessly tight, snatching a secure...

You're such a goddam liar Aer...

When you say you can't write :D

Beautifully crafted, I'd love to read more about our reluctant Commander :)

Re: Only Fire

Beautifully crafted as ever. So impressive how you detail other characters and build such vivid scenes.

"The stars were only fire"

Of course he'd think that :D

Always in awe of your writing, fingers crossed you do make an event! ;)

Re: A Star in the Sky

Argh Aari, you write heartbreak so well! :(

The counterpoint between the memories of happy domesticity and this scene worked beautifully against each other.

*here... have a bucket of moar!*

Re: [Nathranas] The Dreamer and the Waves

So beautiful... I could have happily carried on reading much more! This kind of druid is a really unique idea and I love it, the ideas behind the relation between the ocean and the moon.. just brilliant. Such an elegant lively style of writing, I always envy how you do it ;) *smacks merrily with sti...

That would have to be a catastrophic loss with the dice, and even then there'd be hell to pay ;)

Re: Walking...

Not much at all happens in this snippet, just a ramble! ^^ One day... I'm going to have to clear this damn place out. Cal tilted her head to one side as she stepped carefully through the cramped gloom of the vault. It was a comfortable space, holding almost everything she held of value. Dusty tomes...

Re: Eluvere

It was an ancient old dance of life and death and she gladly let it spin her around. There was no hate, no anger. Because they all know. The hunter knows and the hunted know perhaps most of all. Really loved the sense of Elu taking a long view on life in this piece. The pace and the style really is...

Re: Walking...

The priestess had just landed one hell of a bruise without even a staff in her hands. Sali always does that when she is hungry and grumpy. For safety measures always carry a Sali snack with you, just in case... ...or a big stick :) === These women -really- can't handle their peacebloom. Cal smirked...

Re: Walking...

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in response to Sali's Shade of Blue thread... but here goes ^^ Aariam's table was cluttered with cups, bottles of juice, a skin of wine. What did it matter if the Keeper herself was away on business? The house itself was still a little beacon of welcome and....

There's a lyrical flow to your writing that is just gorgeous 'as ever, as always'. A genuine delight to read ;)

That joke ^^ <3
