Regarding raiding

Post by Maelmoor » Tue Sep 28, 2010 10:30 am

Hello

We (Holy Lightbringers) have decided to start do a raid once per week in ICC, these raids are casual in the sense that the main purpose is to have fun in relaxing forms, no elitism or such will be allowed. At the same time progress is nice, so we wont just aim to take down some thrashmobs, wipe 50 times and be happy, so a good balance is what we aim for.

We have done some raids with some of your members before and thought maybe it's something we can build upon, as both our guilds have RP as focus but might want to experience end-game content.

The aim is to have these raids every sunday between 20-23 (if we are just at a boss it might take a bit longerm but toughly those times)

How will sort out places and such will be determined by the interest, we usually have five-seven raiders around.

So if it sounds good we can talk about it further and everyone who is interested can write here so it will be easier to plan :)

Thanks!
Maelmoor

I'd be interested, and Sunday would be a good day for me. I'm pretty much just dps atm.

As I already poked you about (and since we had so much fun in ICC last sunday) I think this is a great idea! I'll be up for healing on Harna always. :)

Or might I bring Elly for the first two bosses? There's a bow I would so like to roll on.

Mochara doesn't have the gear but I am highly considering bringing my priest into NG in which case I could heal for you. I've done 10 bosses or so.

Oooh I'd love to come except I don't want to do it on Shundal but my two other characters that aren't in NG :( a warrior dps (who's in pvp gear x_x) and a disc priest (who's in pve gear :D!). Either way, I wish you luck with this endeavour :)

^^ thanks for doing this Maelmoor!

I had fun last Sunday, and Sundays are good for me! Would've stayed longer if I wasn't so tired!

Anyway, I've got Myrisha, who's dps and healing.
I've also got Ryasha, who's tank and crappy dps.
So take your pick ^^

I'd love more gear on both of 'm, so whatever you need really!

What gearscore would be required. I'm not sure Jon is quite high enough (Shia for sure isn't) :s

I personally only use gearscore in PUG's...... Guild runs are different and I ignore it. ICC (for PUG's at least) a minimum of around 5100-5300 depending on who you PUG with. However, I have helped Tank ICC on a lot less than that. I would say that you should be ok as we have some good geared chars.

Is this something that will continue this week?
If so I would def be interested... Have a druid(tank) and a shaman(melee dps) which would both be up for this if needed...
